It was cold.
No matter.
It could not possibly rival the numbing iciness that seeps through my body and slashes at my nerves. The air around me starts to thin. The small bumps forming on the skin of my arms only show the surfacing of what was once deep inside. I turn and see myself. The mirror is so cruel... so blatantly truthful. How else can it be? I wished people were like that. I wish people were mirrors that only showed one side. That only HAD one side. There'd be nothing underneath the surface. There'd be...no problems like this. Problems that shouldn't be problems.
